Principal Vidyanand (Ashok Kumar) is a hardworking and diligent person. Due to his honesty, he gets in the wrong side of Seth Dharamdas (Raj Mehra), who conspires with Vidyanand's pupil, Shyam Rao (Anoop Kumar), and has him sent to prison.
